PART 1 - PARENT/GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
- I agree to adhere to all rules and regulations as laid out in the Football Association’s RESPECT campaign.
- I agree to pay the Club an annual “signing on” fee which will be set by the Management Committee. This I will pass to the relevant team manager prior to my son/daughter being registered for the Club. I understand that failure to pay this fee in good time may jeopardise registration. I also understand that, once paid, this fee is non-returnable.
- I agree to pay my Club Subscriptions on when requested - failure to do so may mean my son/daughter is excluded from playing in matches.
- I will (in confidence) inform the Team Manager and/or Club Child Support Officer of any known medical problem that my son/daughter may have.
- I will inform the Team Manager in advance and in good time whenever my son/daughter will be unable to attend training or participate on match days.
- I will endeavour to make sure my son/daughter wears shin pads during training sessions and on match days.
- I will endeavour to arrange transport to and from training and matches for my son/daughter.
- I will immediately inform the Team Manager or, if necessary, the Club Management Committee of any queries, complaints or problems connected with my son/daughter.
- At matches, I will always encourage players (and the team in general) in a positive manner.
- At training and matches I will not shout at or intimidate my son/daughter or any other child.
- At matches I will not abuse (verbally or otherwise) match officials (referees and their assistants) or the parents and/or officials of other clubs. I understand that such behaviour will not be tolerated by Beighton Falcons (or the League/F.A.) and that if I breach this particular agreement, I will be liable for paying all resulting fines and subject to possible suspension from all football activities either by the League/FA or the club itself.
- At matches if there are RESPECT barriers (or other temporary barriers like cones) that I will stay behind such barriers at all times and not encroach beyond the barrier at any time.
- Whilst at training or on match days, I will endeavour to be a positive influence on the behaviour of my son/daughter, whilst he/she is representing the club.
- If my son/daughter leaves the Club, I will ensure that all kit is returned in a satisfactory condition. I understand that failure to do so may result in the Club raising an invoice against me to recover the cost of replacement kit.
- At social events organised by the Club I will behave in a manner that does not tarnish or damage the good reputation of the club.
- I recognise that it is also important for my son/daughter to be aware of his/her responsibilities. I will go through the “Players Responsibilities” section of this Agreement with my son/daughter to ensure they know what is expected of them.
PART 2 - PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Kit & Equipment
- I understand that I will be provided with an official Beighton Falcons club kit and that this will usually consist of shirt, shorts, socks.
- I agree to wear my official club kit only for matches or tournaments involving my Beighton Falcons team, or when asked to do so by Club Officials for special events.
- I understand that my club kit must never been worn to school, as leisurewear or for footballing activities that are not connected with the club.
- I will wear the correct club kit for all representative games.
- I will endeavour to keep all club kit clean & in good condition throughout the season.
- I will return all Club kit to my Team Manager - in a reasonable condition - at the end of the season or when I leave the Club (whichever comes first).
- I understand that my parent or guardian will be asked to pay for replacing any kit that is lost or damaged.
Preparation For Games & Training
- I will do my best to be on time for all training/coaching sessions and for matches.
- I will behave in a sensible manner and not ‘mess around’ during training sessions or matches.
- I will make sure my Team Manager is informed as soon as possible if I cannot attend training sessions or matches for whatever reason.
- I will bring with me all other necessary items of clothing dependent on the weather. If it is cold this will include tracksuit or jogging bottoms etc.
- I will always bring my football boots to games and I realise that I will not be allowed to play in any other kind of footwear.
- For training, I will make sure that I have suitable footwear; e.g boots with “normal studs”, moulded studs for harder ground or trainers. This will depend on the conditions of the ground (firm, soft etc.) and the actual surface (grass, astroturf etc.) of the training pitch.
- I will always bring my own drink to training and matches (unless otherwise provided by the team).
Playing Football For Beighton Falcons
- I understand that I must wear shin pads for all matches and training sessions, and that I will not be allowed to participate without them.
- I understand that during games and training sessions I must not wear jewellery (chains, ear rings, bracelets, rings etc.) or anything that can be dangerous to myself or others. If I can’t remove the item I will cover it with sticky tape or a plaster (at the referee’s discretion).
- I will always look to thank match officials after the game, however bad their decisions have been. I realise that without them I couldn’t have played at all.
- I will always look to shake hands with opponents before leaving the field of play regardless of the result.
- I understand that I must not verbally or physically abuse any player, parent, referee, their assistants or club official of our own or the other clubs. I understand that such behaviour is unacceptable to the Club and will probably result in a fine and /or suspension. Such fines may be instigated by the league or FA, or sometimes by the Club itself.
- I understand that if I am fined, the club will initially pay the fine but it is club policy that if under 18 years old my parent/guardian depending on the nature of the incident may be expected to reimburse the Club. Failure to do so may mean I am excluded from future matches.
