All complaints will be dealt with by the Club Complaints Committee.

The Club Complaints Committee will comprise of at least five members of the Club Management Committee, two of whom must be either:
"      Club Chairman
"      Secretary
"      Treasurer
"      Club Child Protection Officer (in all cases where the issue is one of Child Protection)

Complaints Procedure

If any member of the Club feels that he or she has suffered discrimination in any way, or that the Club Policies, Rules or Code of Conduct have been broken, they should follow the below procedures.

The matter should always be reported in writing:

.      If the complaint is pertinent to Child Protection, write directly to the Club's Child Protection Officer.

.      If the complaint relates to a breach of Club Policies, Rules or Code of Conduct, write directly to the Club Secretary (or another member of the Management Committee).

Your complaint should include:

.      The date, time and place that the incident occurred
.      Full details of the incident
.      Details of any witnesses (names, contact details etc.)
.      Copies of any witness statements.
.      Names of any others who have been treated in a similar way.
.      Details of any former complaints made about the incident, date, when and to whom made.
.      A preference for a solution to the incident.

The Club's Complaints Committee will then arrange a meeting to be held at the earliest convenience so that all parties can discuss the complaint.

The committee will have the power to:
.      Warn as to future conduct.
.      Suspend from membership. 
.      Remove from membership any person found to have broken the Club's Policies or Codes of Conduct.
.      Determine whether any Child Protection issues should be referred to an official body, i.e. The Police.

Notice of Recommendations & Appeals Procedure

The Club's Complaints Committee shall give notice of their recommendations to the offending member who shall have a direct "Right of Appeal" directly to the Club Management Committee. On the conclusion of the appeal, the decision of the Club's Management Committee shall be final, there being no further Right of Appeal.
